Today is our launch day! We’re really excited to introduce Convore.
Convore is a site for chatting with groups of people. You can create a group, invite your friends, and start chatting about anything.
So what makes Convore so great?
Chat in real-time
The best part of Convore is that you can chat with others in real-time. It’s just like instant messaging in your browser.
Public and private groups
There are lots of cool public groups to join on Convore like Music, TV Discussion, and Tech. However, you can also create private groups for your friends and talk privately about anything!
Topics
Sometimes a group conversation can get a bit crowded and noisy. Create a new topic to keep the conversation organized and easy to follow.
See who’s online
While you’re chatting, you can see everyone else in the group who is also online. Very cool.
Notifications
There are lots of ways Convore notifies you of new messages. You hear a sound (cowbell!), your browser title bar changes to reflect the new message count, and the favicon will update. Don’t worry about missing a message, we’ll let you know!
Catch up
Convore also keeps track of any messages you miss while away from the site. When you return, you’ll see the number of unread messages in each group and topic. In the chat view, you’ll see a “Newest messages” section with everything you’ve missed.
